The directions are kind of useless, but if you're a man and have beer...you can figure it out. My buddy and I, installed it less than 2 hours, pretty much without the directions. Once installed it looks awesome and you can't beat the price. If you question your manhood, order something different. Be a man. Order it. Install it. Drink beer.

ALOT of work involved to install this item. Easier and cleaner options are out there that can be dirrectly bolted on. This one involves too much cutting and drilling for a weekend DIY.

Ok where to start, well first of all for the good, the package arrived sooner than expected in great shape so i was excited to install the coming up weekend. This is when it went downhill, i followed the instructions provided and cut out the inside grill, going around the corners was difficult, used a dremal type tool to clean up the edges. Now the next step determined that the billet grille has six tabs to attach to original frame but none of these even come close to being able to do so. the two on top cant be attached due to interfering with mounting the whole grille assy. back on the hood, at this point there was no turning back so i had to cut them both off. So now i had to use pull/zip ties to install the billet grill insert witch does work but goes against the instructions provided, oh and the pics on instructions are all blury and dont help either. Bottom line the grill sets inside the frame good (with zip ties) and feels secure but not what i was previously told before making the purchase with sellers comment and reading other reviews. Hope this helps others know what their facing.

Truck looked great after the grill was installed. The tabs bolt into the existing hood orifices which makes it very sturdy.

You really can't complain about the quality. The instructions on the other hand are terrible so your pretty much on your own. The Trex youtube videos help for taking it off but don't follow the video for the rest if you have Hbars on your grille. Since you can't see the pictures on the instruction I'll try to describe what to do after you get the old grill off the truck.First use an oscillating tool from HF that you can get for less than 20 bucks. Use it and a hacksaw to cut out the "H". You will need to keep that quarter inch or so of the black reveal that inside of the shell. After you cut out the H take the tool and cut all the way around the inside and leave a little lip. Remember you need that quarter to half inch on the front so the grill can rest against it and there not be a gap between the shell and the new grille. Where the "H"s connected in the four legs you will need to take your time and sand them down so they don't show too much. After you screw in the bottom screws you're ready to mount it. The 2 top tabs go on the inside of the hood so you have to pull the grill out a bit and get the hood in between the shell and grill. Then you screw the top outside tabs into the plastic arm brackets from the original grill and your ready to go. Plan on a few hours if you take your time and do it right
