I bought this at least a year ago and it’s still holding up great, dropped my temps down by a lot, and the car was getting abused and never once did I have a leak, and I did run the stock fans and still had no issue, if you’re mechanically inclined this is cake, even if you’re not, w some elbow grease and shell work as she should. She’s not gonna be perfect for a 60 dollar rad, but this one is def a great budget friendly and super reliable one ad far as aftermarket goes. Only thing I ran into was getting the stock rad hoses to fit over the upper and lower necks, as they’re a bit big, all I had to do was stretch them out from the inside just enough and work it by hand until they are snug. Besides that, been going a year strong, and still have no complaints.

I was skeptical at first, due to the price vs a more known brand, but decided to give it a try regardless. When it arrived, I took it out of the box right away, and saw it looks very well made and good quality. No damage whatsoever, not even a single fin bent, and well packaged. Unfortunately, I was unable to get any transmission line fittings that would fit on it for my automatic transmission, but that was easily remedied with an aftermarket Hayden transmission cooler from my local B&W parts store.Install isn't quite something you could easily do just at your house without additional tools such as a grinder/cut-off wheel or something to trim back the radiator support, as the height and angle makes it a bit too large to fit properly. I also had to add a shim or a couple washers, your choice (I went with a lock washer) to the top mount bar, otherwise it sat at an angle and I didn't want to risk damaging the radiator in the future. After test fitting and marking where to cut, a small piece was removed from the radiator support, and it fit without an issue. Even the fan bolted on no problem! Everything else was rather smooth, at least for this part of my upgrade (transmission cooler lines being brand new were a bit stiff, but that had nothing to do with the radiator since I used an A/M trans cooler).Overall, great product, I've pushed my car pretty hard and put a quick 100 miles of speedy and fun highway driving, being a bit mean to the car, and no issues whatsoever! Would I recommend this? Yes. Yes I would. So far it has completely eliminated the slight overheating issue my 97 civic lx had (i mean, its at 215k miles, no engine light or anything, so bound to have some issues).

This thing keeps the car cool. I think the previous owner pulled the thermostat in an effort to curb the overheat problem. Car ran great but in warm weather would get hot going up hills . I put this in and cant get it hot enough to kick the electric on. The thing i like the most is it dropped right in even with the factory fan which was a concern. It looks great too very clean welds, and no plastic.

The locating pin on top and both feet pegs were in the right spot, the height was correct, inlet and outlet were correct and install was smooth and clean. Haven't abused it yet but I think it will withstand it.

I installed this on my Honda Civic 2000 with a little bit of hard effort. Like other people I had to lube and stretch the radiator hoses(Upper & Lower) to get them on and buy bigger hose clamps. I really like the radiator but the automatic transmission connectors were way too small. When I connected the automatic transmission hoses to the inlet/outlet connectors on the bottom of the radiator it started leaking a lot of transmission fluid because the connections that came with the radiator were way too small! I had to double clamp the radiator fluid hoses just to stop the leaking. My old inlet/outlet connectors from my old radiator were too old and rusted to use or else this would have been and easy swap. Now I have to find connectors that fit my standard transmission hoses correctly! Maybe soomeone can let me know where I can get the proper inlet/outlet connections? Buyers be ready to put a lot of effort for the installation, but me I found it worth it in the end.

Excellent value. The radiator is working well. All the mounting holes and pegs were correctly positioned. This radiator is a bit lower at the top than the top of the plastic tank of the OEM radiator. The original top bracket still works, and the radiator is not moving much as the hoses keep it in place. I will make a new bracket that is straight rather than offset, which will make the installation a bit more solid and better looking.I replaced the radiator hoses with silicone hoses that stretched with a little effort to accommodate the 1.25-inch inlet and outlet diameter. All in all, I would use the same radiator again. A great value.

This is a great radiator and a most excellent value. That said, it should also be mentioned that this particular radiator is not drop in no problems for all the vehicles it is said to fit. It is better suited to B series motors and will drop in no problems. The d series run smaller hoses and it would be inadvisable to force fit them as this will bind the rubber and cause a premature hose fail. I bought this for my Del sol d series and ran into this problem. I force fit the hoses and searched for a different radiator. I found the prime choice model here on Amazon for about 24 bucks shipped and fit perfect in the sol. I will be installing this one in my 2000 si em1 which will be a perfect fit. So not for the d series without hose adapters, which would be a big pain and less than ideal, but if you got the big motor you are golden.
