Direct replacement for my backup camera on a 15 Chevy 3500.Just line up the wires in correct spot the pigtail has heavier wires than OEM which is a plus. Do not try to match wire color just go by wire position.

Mice got to the camera wiring on a customer's truck. The dealer wanted me to buy the whole camera for $200, but all it really needed was a pigtail. The wire colors don't match the factory harness, but if you're not an idiot it's easy to figure it out. It worked perfectly, fit the main harness pigtail with no issues, and it wasn't $200. Definite five stars!

Wire colors don’t match and using old plug as a reference to wire correspondingly doesn’t work either.

By all means, I support our environment & happy & healthy trees, but that's no reason to not provide instructions or a wiring diagram for those of us who's wires on the original plug have come displaced as the colors of the wires do not match the existing pin locations and additionally, have an extra wire!Shame on you!!!
