I use these hem guides frequently since it’s much faster to press a hem using the guide than measure and pin. The Kearing is a heavier metal than the one made by Dritz.

This little gadget works well. It is big enough that I can grasp it where the iron has not touched it. I love the fact that one side is curved, too.
