I think I bought this less than a year ago. The seal around the shaft is already leaking. I torqued everything to factory spec. Mechanic by trade, just was trying to save a little money. Now I'm going to go buy one where I can get a warranty without having to call someone.

Pump works great. Impeller pressed on to correct distance.But you need the real metal gasket: GM 251-2042.The gasket is comes with is bent up junk.

This water pump arrived on time,fit exactly as the old one did, only problem I had with it was the felt gasket tore during installation, so I purchased a tube of gasket to go on with it. So far so good. No leaks at all.

The gasket is torn when I took it out of the package. So I have to buy another one for $21.49 just for the gasket.

The impeller hit the water pump housing and the pump would not turn. The impeller is not pressed on far enough. I had to press it onto the shaft approx. .060" furthur, using the old pump as a guide.
