My compressor is a 1977 Quincy, model 325.I had built a water trap using 3/4" pipe with ball valves, there are 5 valves to drain moisture. There's over 20 feet of pipe on it.I still was getting probably 1 gallon of water from the tank over a 10 to 12 hr period of operation. So I bought this and the hoses all on Amazon for roughly $396.Boy has it made a huge difference! Now I only get a vapor when I open the 5 ball valves, and only approximately 3/4 of a pint of water from the tank.I also installed a 12" long pipe, with a T connector at the exit of the after cooler and a 3/4" ball valve there. The air atvthe T is directed into the tank.It only had a 1/4 of a cup of water come from it after 12 hrs of operation. This has helped tremendously with my water problems.I can't recommend it enough. They also make one with a 3/4" fitting, but I opted for the 1" because it had more surface area to cool the air.On my particular setup, where the air enters the after cooler, it's so hot I can barely touch it, and I have calloused hands.Where the air exits, it's actually cooler than my hand.So the temperature drop is very substantial.I recommend an after cooler 1000% 😎
