I was replacing a lace mantilla for traditional Catholic Latin Mass. These ones were light weight but stayed on very will without pins. Just enough weight on the bottom from lace trim! The texture from the painted decoration keeps them from slipping too, so I don't need hair pins. One of them came apart between ceil and lace trim, but iI put a few tiny stitches in and its fine. For the money, it was a great purchase!

I love it. It looks modest, with flair. It’s not so much to stand out & cause attention like the only one I have. I’ve never been to traditional mass 🇺🇸, but would like to blend in to not cause attention to myself, but to Our Lord. This concept is new to me, totally opposite of who I am in life. When in Rome…. I love wearing on my head. An ancient practice, meets modern woman 😌. Something so special about a tradition dating back thousands of years.

Absolutely wreaks of chemicals. No clue why such delicate lace needs to be exposed to such harsh chemicals. Looks pretty though. The dangling bits is on the back of the scarf not the front as shown (which actually works better for me). If I needed it the other way, I would return it. A bit sparkly for church but the black should do nicely for mass until Easter. Hopefully I can wash away the glitter bits on the white one before Christ has risen in the annual Church calendar.
