These do what they advertise - they cover the vertical guide poles on a boat trailer. Made of thin fabric-reinforced neoprene (the same material as thin wet suits), they slip fit over the poles and have a drawstring at the base. My poles are PVC, and they fit snugly onto them without cinching the cord. I'm not sure how secure they would be on thinner poles, relying on just that drawstring and its friction clip. What I hadn't thought of was how much more difficult they make it to see those poles when reversing down the ramp or when approaching with the boat, especially on a dark ramp and/or a dark day. I wish I'd got ones with a reflective or bright-colored stripe or rings. I've now sewn reflective/neon-colored strips onto the covers myself, and it makes a huge difference.I'm also not sure of the UV durability of the neoprene. I've had problems with this leading to fairly rapid degeneration of the neoprene in the past with other products, but only time will tell how these hold up to the scorching heat and high sun of the California central valley.

These are simple neoprene covers for boat trailer pylons. They stretch over you pylons and create a little bit of cushion and nicer look to your boat trailer. These sleeves are pretty tight and can be a bit of a challenge sliding over your pylons. As for quality and durability, I can't really comment because I've only had them for a couple weeks, but I will update this review as needed. Overall these neoprene pylon sleeves are ok. They are very tight but look nice once on. I'm not sure I would recommend these, just because they are so tight and I don't think I would buy these again if needed

I use these on a 40" Guide Pole with a 2 3/8" OD PVC pole. They are super snug but fit nicely and look great. They have a locking drawstring at the bottom to keep them from pulling off. The material is thick enough to protect the boat if it hits the pole. I can't speak to the durability; I do know Neoprene will fade, so I expect that. I like it more for the cushioning effect. For the cost of these, they can be replaced seasonally like any other wear item if you want.

Sweet pole covers!! Nice tight fit over my PVC poles with a draw string on bottom. Neoprene has a nice thickness to it & feels very durable. I will buy more for my other poles. I used mine on the front of my Tritoon cradle. Great value & highly recommend.

I have a small boat trailer with very short 1 foot by 2.5 inch diameter plastic guide posts. I got these pole covers with the intent to cut them down and then cover and protect the plastic posts from UV damage. I was pleasantly surprised to see what nice quality covers these are. The are made out of quality neoprene material and beautifully flat-stitched together. I cut them to length and sealed the seam with super glue to prevent unraveling. They slid over the guide posts perfectly and look great. These covers turned out to be a perfect solution for my trailer. Definitely recommended.

Fit great as described to replace our 36 inch guide pole cover. Ours were looking pretty shabby after 15 years! The original covers were foam with a nylon cover, and these are not exactly the same. These are neoprene, so there's not as much padding, but since there are no sharp edges you could hit with your boat, it should be just fine. I'm curious how long they last. We keep our neoprene items in the shade and they still eventually wear out. I'm hoping these hold up in the sun! For now, at least, they look a lot sharper than the ratty ones they replaced! At the bottom there is just a drawstring with a squeeze lock, and I'm worried about that while towing at highway speeds. I am hoping that running the end of the string back through it's slot will hold well enough. I don't think you could lose the covers at all, but I think the string would be toast after a few miles.

The look great. Easy to install and fit well over poles. They aren’t tight so they should be able to spin a bit if needed. The first time I used them they tore. This was with a normal gentle trailering. No wind no hard riding the bumper coming in our going out.

These trailer guide pads are exactly as described and pictured. They are thin neoprene (wetsuit material) that fit snugly on my 2 3/8" OD plastic pipe trailer guide covers that offer some padding and scratch protection when loading my boat onto the trailer. They are a full 48" long, have enclosed tops, and have a cinch cord on the bottom. They look good on my trailer, I'm happy with them, but they don't offer a lot of padding.
