This is Borla... so quality is superior. This muffler is just loud enough so that I can hear when I get on it and quiet enough that it does not drone on the highway. It has a rather mid to high range tone and sometimes can sound a little raspy. Cold start is the loudest for this muffler, then settles to literally stock quiet until you start moving. When you start moving from cold start though, it has a nice burble when in first gear and slowing down or even shifting into second gear. That classic Subbie burble. I've had it for about over a week now and I think as it breaks in, the tone lowers a bit and it starts to burble more, which is beautiful sounding! This combined with an AEM intake and the throttle controller makes the 155hp Impreza feel a bit peppier and like the sporty awd is should be. Make sure to have a torque wrench or impact drill to remove old muffler. Only thing at first that bothered me was that It was literally touching the heat plate between the muffler and the underbody so I could hear rattling, but that's easily fixed by pushing the heat plate up towards the body a bit, but don't push too hard or you can crack the plate by the bolts. WARNING: This does not come with a new muffler gasket, but you can order online or get at local auto store probably. Its a donut shaped gasket. Super satisfied with the purchase!

Put this on a 19 crosstrek. Sound is great but fitment is not ideal. It rattles against the heat shield.

Fit 2017 Impreza perfectly. Sounds good, a little louder than I expected but good. Time will tell if it holds up good.

It is quiet under light pedal and has a growl to it when accelerating. Gained a couple extra horsepower, just what I wanted at my elevation.

So happy with this exhaust. It sounds a bit more tinny than I expected, but still sounds great! I have noticed that it has made the car a bit more responsive and have actually seen an increase in my mpg!

The install was fairly easy with basic hand tools. No need to jack the car up either. The hardest part is breaking the factory bolts loose on the exhaust flange. Soak the exhaust hangers in a little WD40 or your choice of spray lubricant an hour or two before starting for ease of removal.Sound is nice. Has a nice tone without been obnoxiously loud. Idle inside sounds as quiet as stock.Build quality is second to none as is expected of Borla.Makes my Slow-buru sound great and a little more sporty feeling.
