Hands down best sound for this car, not super loud on start up, but screams when you step on it. Yet no drone on highways speeds. 10/10 recommend Sounds great! I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a nice cat back system that is loud! It's Pricey, but definitely worth it.. Highly recommend Exhaust sounds great! Definitely worth the money. Spend the extra cash and get this exhaust. I have all Kooks longtube headers and X pipe with this cat-back it really gives it a nice growl.100% recommend these. Not super complicated and definitely worth the money. Have an amazing deep sound with some rumble!

You got a V8 Mustang? Or V8 anything for that matter... First thing to do is get rid of that stock Cat-back exhaust! Borla is the way to go, unbelievable sound. ATAK is for the big boys. Slapped it on my 2000 Mustang GT Convertible.

What can I say about these exhausts they sound amazing. These exhaust are perfect for any car enthusiast it has a nice deep sound that doesn't get obnoxious and doesn't drone a lot either. Everywhere I drive people complement my car and how it sounds. Most people also tell me they hear my car before they see it.

Perfect sound, great quality. Very loud when getting on the throttle, while quiet enough during cruising to have no drone

I am very particular about how I want my Mustang to sound. I have installed Cat-back from Pypes with the violator Mufflers, replaced mufflers with Flowmaster Super 44's Super 10's and original 40 series. I have tried Hooker Areo chamber mufflers all very good quality, all products that I have used in the past and have been very happy with. I have gone from H pipe to X pipe back to H pipe. the problem is with my specific engine build and combination of high performance parts I would experience a resonant drone. one of my fixes was adding side branch resonators which I built myself making them adjustable to control drone at different rpm (long story) but when I would cancel out drone it would also cancel out some desirable sound as well.I was intrigued by the Borla ATAK mufflers because they were much like designs I have been experimenting with. unfortunately my car is a 79 mustang with a 347 stroker motor (ATAK not avail for 79) and this system is for 99-03 mustang. surprisingly it fit better than other Fox body systems did (79 is a oddball) with re-fabrication of a 99-03 H pipe it fit nicely. It sounds excellent! better than I hoped for, but exactly what I wanted throughout the RPM range. this system is not for the faint of heart.......it is loud! very crisp with a unmistakable sound of power! I am running High flow Cats, you definitely want to run cats if you don't want to break noise ordinances. For a daily driver I would suggest the Borla S-type system just to make it easier to talk on the phone, listen to the radio, hear your GPS directions, or listen to your significant other flap in your ear.For those of you installing it on your 99-03 it will be a very easy project providing you don't want to save the old exhaust. Just cut the old off with a saws all. loosely install the new and check clearances, most importantly make sure the tips are equal height and angle and tighten it down gradually. Start the vehicle and let everything vibrate into its natural position and re-adjust if necessary.I am pleased, and feel it is worth every penny. Do it once, do it right!
