Great , pretty and the multi facetted edges make it easier to hold the more you use it.

I absolutely love this particular glass by Bormioli for several reasons. The glass is beautifully lightweightand high quality so elegant. And the design is really sensational looking with the glass itself shaped like a lightly crushed piece of white paper that reflects light and makes the glasses very easy to hold unlikethe usual smooth-sided glasses. Bormioli is an exceptionally fine company that creates wonderful glassesof different sizes that are gorgeous and functional at the same time! Especially nice for people witharthritis or other hand issues because you have something to hold onto. Highly recommend these.

I love these glasses. I have been using them for years and just ordered some extra small glasses. I use them for wine, cocktails, juice, etc. They wash great in the dishwasher and I’ve never had any issue with chipping or cracking.

I have both the clear set along with the grey/tinted set. I’m a huge fan of these glasses and get a lot of compliments from guests. They are easy to hold and also hold a lot of water. They’re great on display and easy to clean, though I do recommend a soft brush to get in the nooks and crannies. My coffee or juice will sit in those crevices and make it hard to wash if I let dishes sit out too long. The soft brush helps, along with soaking of course. But other than that, the cups are easy to maintain and keep clean. I’ve had my newest set for a few weeks and my original set for over five years, I highly recommend.

I love the modern look of these glasses, but sadly they seem cheap and have very thin glass. They have seams going up the glass, which make them look even cheaper. Would not recommend buying. For the price, I could have gotten something much nicer at a local shop.

For those Blade Runner fans who don't have enough credits to buy the expensive versions, this is an elegant (and super-affordable) alternative. (At the time of writing this, I paid roughly $16 for a set of four.) I was tempted to go with the Onyx version, but stayed true to the original. (Heck, at that price, I may just spring for a 2nd set.) Settle in after a hard day, pour a glass... you've done a man's job, sir.

I bought these to compliment a new decanter (a great birthday gift for a whiskey drinker, by the way) that I was given for my lounge. The geometric facets hold comfortably in the hand and the smokey tint of the glass is a nice touch which adds to the attractiveness of the set. I also happen to be a fan of cinema and these glasses are reminiscent of Deckard's whiskey glass in Blade Runner.Since I prefer a heavier drinking glass I will mention one thing about the set to keep in mind. I knew from the product specs that these were not weighted drinking glasses, I bought them knowing that so this isn't a complaint, just a kind observation. Do not expect heavy glasses if you buy these, they are quite light. It took a little getting used to, but the cool factor more than makes up for it.

This is my first review so... a bit about where this review is coming from. I grew up in the fifties and lived in houses designed by my father in that particular California mashup of Craftsman and Minimalist architecture I always associate with Sunset Magazine of the period.I was specifically looking for a design that would be easy to pick up and comfortable to hold. These really fit the bill and they're nice to look at too. The design, with it's angles, makes them nestle into your hand so you don't need to hold onto them tightly which is an advantage when a guest is tipsy (or you're older and have recently dropped a glass). They are rather light, but so far none have broken when put under ice maker chute as other glasses have. (UPDATE -- under ice maker one did develop a crack from rim to an internal corner but, thankfully, did not break or shatter in my hand so I switched from cubes to crushed and have had no problems for the last year and I've bought another set in clear as well as one in onyx -- No breakage in dishwasher but they don't seem to get as clean as thicker glasses, and they spot more.) When hand washing you might want to use a toothbrush or at least use (soft) sponge vertically since residue from a WhiteRussian, Horchata or OJ tends to hide inside the sharp angles and a once around lightly with sponge doesn't cut it.Because of the design I really like these glasses with the 1" cube ice cubes from the available in various colors. Try making ice cubes with cranberry juice and pouring vodka straight out of the freezer (or pink lemonade) over couple or three of them -- spectacular. And if you're into cubist or constructivist art, or like or have any of the Bertoia or Saarinen tables or chairs with spider or crisscrossed wire bases these are a no-brainer.

Now keep in mind that I paid $15 for my set. They are really nice glasses though not super heavy. I do not find these to be "thin" and they are fairly standard.I would not call them fragile and frankly any of my whiskey glasses dropped in an unprotected sink from six inches will break. I shudder to think of dropping my Italian Cibi glasses when washing them but I know they would break if I did. I think most glasses will damage with the previously mentioned washing test. Putting a sink mat in will help but with quality or rare hand wash glasses you just have to be careful. At the price I paid I was more then pleased and the design is cool and the hand hold is natural. I like Bormioli stuff in general. For me I'm not sure I would pay the $32 posted at this writing (I almost always get stuff on sale though) but I wouldn't say that was a lot either and if you like the design you're likely to be pleased.
