Der Eimer geht oben etwas auseinander, aber der Deckel schließt trotzdem noch gut. Der Geruch bleibt im Eimer, so wie ich es gehofft habe.

I like the size of this container but I wish the lid was attached so that you could just flip it open when your hands are full of scraps to put inside. I also ordered the biodegradable bags that go with it but they are too small and sink into the container. I end up having to fasten them with paper clips so that they don't slip.

Cute compost bin that fits under the sink. The filter smelled a little strong like Pinesol to me but after I got use to it, I appreciated the filter is strong enough to mask any scents inside the composter. Takes me about a week to fill it and then I just take it out to my backyard composter. Is fairly lightweight and can be moved easily with the handle. Only thing I don’t like about it is it is a pain to clean. I weekly use the hose in the backyard to fill it up and let it soak with bleach so I don’t have to touch it too much, but I would recommend getting a compostable liner so you don’t have to deal with cleaning so often. Overall though, I would say it is good for the price..

J'ai été étonnée de la grandeur, j'aurais dû prendre la taille au dessus, mais il est parfait pour mettre en dessous d'un évier. Pour la solidité, on verra avec l'usage.

I have had this compost caddy for roughly 3-4 months and it has worked great. It takes us about 10 days to fill it up completely before I take it to the compost bin. The handle and square opening makes it easy to dump. The handle seems a little flimsy and I worry that I might break it, but so far I have not been gentle with it - and it hasn't broke. After I dump it, I clean it well with soapy water and it looks good as new. There have been no smells and the lid fits well so I haven't had problems with those tiny flies. I keep the bin on the floor by a doorway and the handle makes it easy to grab and put on the counter or in the sink where I am working. Even with it being on the floor, my dogs haven't messed with it so that's a pretty good sign that the filter works. This is not a "pretty" composter - one that I would want to keep on the counter, but it is a hard working one. And, it's large enough to keep me from running out to the composter every other day. I'm very pleased with this purchase.

I just use this one for 5 days, so far so good, I made my own drinking enzyme, use many kinds of fruits and brown sugar and water, and stir every day, the bubble is a lot (good sign), very good tool, make my fruits' fermentation going very well, So I ordered one more. Very looking forward to get it. It really odor free. (Even my fruits enzyme smell very good, I still can not smell it when the lid is on). and the value is big enough, just fit my kitchen cupboard under counter top. but the handle looks a little weak, so I put this caddy in a plastic bag, every time I need to move it, I just need to move plastic bag, so keep this handle safe and last longer.

I bought this because of all the good reviews. I was wrong. The list is hard to keep on and doesn't just open and close easy. There are no hinges so it just falls to the floor if you are trying to use one hand. It does not keep insects out. The gnats are finding there way through the seams in the lid easily. I can't have bugs and this item isn't returnable since it's basically a trash can. Guess I'm gunna have to toss it. What a shame.

Nice kitchen counter compost bin. Our last one was ceramic and it was small and got super gross and stinky all the time. This one is bigger (only having to empty about every 2-3 days) and it's easy to keep clean. So far, no smelly mess. It's not glamourus but it gets the job done and does it well. The only possible problem that I can foresee is that it is pretty tall. Tall enough that it may not fit easily under all cupboards. Other than that, it's great.

If you compost a lot then this is for you. Love the large/ tall size as it holds a lot (we eat a lot of fruit and vegetables). It's easy to clean (in between trips to the compost pit) and does the job for us. Doesn't smell at all. The food flies are inevitable, and as long as you empty it often, it's not a mess. The fact that it's not porcelain (it's plastic, but not cheap or flimsy), it doesn't get heavy when we have to empty it.It has a simple, clean design so looks pretty nice on the counter top.

This is a very nice compost caddy. It holds lots of kitchen scraps, and is easy to transport to the compost bin. If I could improve it at all, it would be to add a sturdier handle. It's handle seems a little flimsy, but with careful handling, I think it will last for quite some time. I like the odor-control filters, as well. I'm finding that as long as the lid is on securely, there's no smell. 'Very nice!
