Like the title says: Sad we have to lock everything up, including our pipes, but today, we have to do what we can do to protect our property. This ball valve lockout does the job. I'm working with 3/4" NP, and this fits perfectly over my ball valve control. I'm able to lock it with my favorite key lock. It's made of tough polymer so it's not going to break. It's rated down to 0* and as hot as 175*. You can lock closed or open. Closed works with 1/2" - 2.5" diameter pipe, while the open position works with 1/2" - 1 1/4" diameter pipe. Whether you are doing a safety lock out for the job, or protecting your property, this ball valve lockout will do the job. A+ 5*s. Thank you. I recommend it.

The unit is bulkier than it looks, and difficult to get a lock on and off.
