it 1/2" but in side at the elbow area it drop to 1/4" .so to water volume or pressure coming thru.

They don't indicate what thread lenght needs to be protruding from the finished surface. If you miss 1/4 turn you cant get it tight and sealed joint. I suggest you try it out first and install your roughing AFTER at the proper position (depth)

The nipple was excellent, but too short for what I needed, so I took it off and replaced it with a longer one. This looks excellent in the bathroom. It's heavy duty metal and an overall good product. It was a great upgrade for us!

Spent ton of money to have safety set in shower installed for my husband. But the hose adaptor was just too long and made it stick out too far. After searching found this one. It was perfect. Looks much better than the one that was installed. Easy to change out and looks better than original. Low profile is what we wanted and this fits perfect.

The nipple will remove if need be. Easy to measure and set the depth of your drop el to match for this one to work though. Exactly What you would expect!

The brass NPT shower connector is very well made and easily installed. I did however have to add a longer NPT fitting as the original one was a bit short. Other than that swap out of NPT fittings I am very pleased and would recommend the product to others.

I looked at many similar items but they were all mostly plastic. This one is all strong metal. I haven’t installed it yet, but it has a brass male nipple that is to go through the wall which is only 1/2” long. That’s too short for tiled walls with 1/2” cement board with almost 1/2” of thin set and tile. In my application I need a 2” nipple. Their brass one is removable and has an O ring on the end going into the device. I’ll try a standard 2” nipple and lots of anti leak plumbers paste. If that works without leaking, I’m confident it will serve us well for many years. I’ll update this review if it doesn’t work out. None the less be aware the nipple is very short.
