Planting

Planting

To plant in a container, choose a pot slightly larger than the shipped container, with holes in the bottom to allow for drainage.

Size as described, healthy leaves, nice root system. Arrived well packed and well-watered in a root-trimming pot, so the roots were not rootbound.

My kids love this tree. We got a cute little basket and put the tree in a larger nursery out and into the basket. How cute is he?! I love him too. We all love Julius.

A bit disappointed because I avoided buying a smaller tree in hopes that this 4-5’ tree would have any flowers or fruit at all. It was well packaged, no leaves, flowers or fruit at bottom of the box. I hope to see some growth soon! I will edit my review if and when any flowers or fruit start to bloom. Today is 5/13/2022.Here to edit my review!I’m excited to say today is 6/8/2022, which is about 3.5 weeks since I’ve gotten my tree. Today, there is a little bud growing. I’m so happy! 2 stars to 5 stars! Thank you!Another review on 8/7/2022, don’t sleep on these trees! Look at how fruitful they are now. So many flowers and fruits! I can’t wait until they’re ready to eat! Thank you so much!

My husband and I LOVE our little orange tree! It delivered in great condition and we have since moved it into two different pots. It seems to be thriving and we only recieved it in the beginning of December last year, 2021. It's bloomed twice so far and I believe it's going on its third bloom with baby oranges each time. We water as directed since it doesn't like soggy soil and it seems to be doing great! We also have it in a spot in our house where we know its going to get at least 3-4 hours of sunlighr from our windows. Considering that we haven't had it for more than a year yet and it's doing great, I highly recommend! Neither my husband or myself are green thumbs but Naranja the Fruit Barrier (plants name!) seems to be THRIVING!

Updates; I made contact with seller. They are checking plants before sending a replacement! Yippy! I am excited, if the replacement is a healthy, pest free replacement this will be a 5 star rating!!! I was VERY Happy with my trees size just not the free bugs :) I will update as it is resolved! My Calamondin Orange tree just showed up. I opened the box, was very happy with the size being true 1-2' but.... Almost all the leaves of my tree have bumps and holes, looks a lot like Citrus-Scab..... I am greatly concerned it has root rot!So, immediately after it came, I opened it and discovered this, I called Brighter Blooms 800 # as their paperwork says to...I wait 10 mins on the phone and then it hangs up.I am SO unhappy to have received a diseased/dying tree after paying $70 plus shipping.....I will update once I get in contact with the seller about replacement. I just read all their guarantees and am sad to learn they do returns and replacements, but buyer pays all shipping and no reimbursement of that. I am hoping they will at least let me get a replacement for shipping cost.

I live in zone 5b (Northern Illinois) and I bought my tree back last March, 2017 for $75-80... somewhere around there. I am so happy with it that I’ve become obsessed. I keep it in a South facing window and I constantly check it for new growth. When it first flowered I was so excited!!! I think it was too young to bear fruit but it looked beautiful and smelled great. It went dormant from about August to now... February, 2018 and I was told it blooms all year round. I added an organic fertilizer to it back in mid January and that could be why it is just starting to bloom now... or it could be the freezing weather we’ve had. Even though it didn’t bloom all year round , I’m still in love! If you look at the first picture, that was back April 1st of 2017 and the second picture is from last week February 11th. It is growing like a weed!!! I have 2 new flower buds on it. This is my plant baby.
