This product is not compatible with Asus F512J laptops, seller sent not compatible item, it is 3 or 4 mm larger in bottom part and you can't put it i place.

No issues with the install. Start to finish, it took about 30 minutes. Removing the trim and then reinstalling it after replacing the screen was the hardest part.

This was shipped to Jamaica. It came just fine. It was packaged well and came with instructions. Saved me a lot of money cause now I don’t have to buy a new laptop after having my screen damaged for almost 2 years. This was an awesome buy

Watch the you tube video with the father and kid replacing the screen (replacing the ASUS VivoBook 15 Inch). The project was much easier than I anticipated. This replacement screen saved me from having to buy a new laptop for my 12 year old (who dropped her laptop and broke the screen).

I ordered this to replace a cracked screen in a ~2 year old VivoBook 15 F512JA, exactly as advertised. The replacement screen arrived VERY securely packed and well-protected. There was a clear plastic sheet protecting the screen surface, which was sandwiched between two sheets of foam padding and a stiff piece of cardboard. All of that was wrapped completely around in 1" thick bubble wrap, which was then sheathed inside a VERY sturdy cardboard carton. Despite a few outside dings, the panel inside was unblemished and in perfect working order.Asus made it as frustrating as possible to actually replace the screen. The motherboard video connector is located BENEATH the heat pipe, necessitating the removal of the entire cooling assembly just to reach it. And the bezel around the screen is held on by two tiny screws and about 20 plastic clips that are almost impossible to detach without breaking at least a few. But, none of that is Brightfocal's fault, and they made their part of the process as convenient as humanly possible, especially for the surprisingly reasonable price.

The screen fixed my issue. But be aware that no tools are present with it.
