The pictures are four days after mounting this suction mount broom handle holder to the inside of our painted closet door. Works really well even with using more force than normal to open or close the door. I don’t have faith in suction mount devices, at least not beyond a few days but so far this has held the light weight items well.Long term might be another story but I do like that the suction is dial-activated, so I can remount and dial it back up to maximum and it should work. Ironically we mounted this unit in the same place we had another holder which used an adhesive, and failed.The only issue would be the lack of instructions although I feel it was reasonably self-explanatory. There was a sticker included, but not in English, French or Spanish. My approaches was to: clean the point of mounting, let it dry, attach the unit and ensure it is level, then turn the dial to its’ maximum extent to ensure positive suction. We tested a few items of varying weight but generally needed to store two lightweight items: a swiffer and broom.I like that I don’t have to drill or use adhesive onto paint or wallpaper which may fail anyway. I will see if this works long term but so far it’s handy, effective and appreciated.

I just twisted it onto my tile wall, and boom—it gripped like magic. No drilling, no fuss. I hung up my mop, broom, and even a duster and it hasn’t budged. It’s held up even with daily use. I also love how you can remove and clean it if needed. It actually looks kinda sleek too. I was tired of mops sliding down and cluttering the corner—this fixed all that. Def recommend if you don’t wanna mess with screws or damage your walls.
