The flocked foam pad has soft bristles to ensure over-all coverage in and around raised lettering and grooves. The pad has a unique hook and loop design to hold the pad secure while allowing for easy replacement. Our state of the art applicator eliminates over-spray on paint, wheels, driveways and your hands. Do not be fooled by all those cheap foam pad applicators on the market. The foam pads will absorb the tire shine dressing. Our unique flock foam pad will keep the tire shine dressing on the flock pad therefore you will use less tire shine dressing which means the applicator will pay for itself. The applicator has multiple uses. Once the tires, bumpers and door moldings are shined, snap the pad off for storage and snap on a clean pad for the inside of the car; dashboard, consoles, and door panels. It's expensive- but I think it's worth it. The ball handle is very useful and speedy. My one gripe is the shape and contour of the pad is ideal for medium- large size tires. Need a smaller version for low-profile, "rubber band" tires.

I've been debating for a while if I wanted to buy one of these things. My old tire sponge worked ok but was falling apart so I decided to give this a try. It reminds me off a painting pad for edging on internal walls but with a thin sponge on the back. Anyway it works very well and requires little product to spread around your product. I've used 303 aerospace protectant and thicker tire dressings such as CG VRP and it worked great. It cleans up well too. I have only used it a few times but I'm sure it will outlast the sponge applicators I've used in the past. I just bought more pads to use on trim. Fairly pricy but I feel with this you get what you pay for.
