I got this to try to replace a lost bridge on an old Harmony Monterey Leader (archtop jazz guitar). Unfortunately, it left the strings about an inch high off the base of the fret, even fully lowered.

I bought this bridge because I wanted better intonation on my archtop guitar. It has a wooden bridge that is not adjustable. This bridge affected the tone of my guitar and not in a good way. Tone is subjective, so you might not have any issues. I returned the bridge and re-installed the wooden bridge. I did not see any defects in the construction of the bridge. This bridge might work well for some, but it didn’t work well for me.

I hate to be the first review, I got this because it’s little smaller than the ones I’ve seen here, but this is a very bad product, it doesn’t break the bank but very poor quality, the wood is light and not sanded/smoothed nicely, the metal used is cheap and plated with chrome, now the 2 side holes one of them is not big enough for the bush to go in, I will send it back and look for a different one, or just use it for parts since I needed it for a project Amit to use it the way it is, but really bad, save yourself time!
