This 36mm stanchion fork far exceeds my expectations. Bucklos has really improved their quality. The fit and finish is perfect. Installed it on a Polygon T7, replacing the RockShox Recon Silver. This fork is much iighter due to the magnesium lowers versus the aluminum lowers on the RockShox. I checked all the dimensions compared to the RockShox to ensure the installation would go smooth and the dimensional accuracy was perfect...no issues with the swap. This fork is much beefier than the RockShox...more travel, bigger stanchions, and less weight. I am impressed so far and am confident it will perform excellent. I took off the stickers and with the bigger diameter stanchions and extra travel, the Polygon T7 now looks sweet! This fork takes a 180mm brake disc, but I'm upgrading to 200mm with spacers, for extra stopping power.

Great price, easy to install, have ridden for over a year without anything major happening. But don't expect any help from Bucklos when it comes to servicing the fork. I am a DIYer so a manual and a service kit would be extremely helpful. No such luck, they simply do not have any service information on the very fork they sell. So will just have to match up replacement parts the best I can. UPDATE: at the time of service I attempted on several occasions to get a service manual and a service kit (seals, o-rings, oil, etc) but again to no avail. In fact, they would not even answer my requests for these items. Ultimately I believe it is a descent fork but I expect at least some help to service the fork and Bucklos is just not interested in that side of the business.

Read the description carefully, because this fork only accommodates tires up to 2.3" max. I tried a 27.5 x 2.8 tire and it rubbed the bridge. I swapped to a 2.3 tire and it just barely fit under the bridge - overinflate the tire by a tiny bit and it wouldn't fit. It's like Bucklos tried to re-use parts from a 26" fork and try to make them work for a 27.5 or 29 fork. Fine if you run skinny tires or use this fork for a gravel bike, but this fork won't work with any of the modern wider MTB tires. Otherwise fork seems decent. Build quality is good and the stanchions are big and beefy. Stickers are easy to remove if that's your thing. The lockout knob is variable, but at it's full lock rotation the fork never really locked and the lockout knob's position didn't seem to make much difference with either compression or lockout. Fork came with no instructions for installation, tuning, or servicing - you're on your own. This could be a good option for entry-level gravel bikes or skinny tire MTB upgrade.

Very pleased with the performance and quality at the price point!!Installed on an Ibis Ripmo AF for a budget build and I am very pleased at this point in time until I upgrade. I will say that I am in no hurry. My only complaint is that recently the dampener adjustment knob at the bottom of the fork fell off.I really hope that I can get a replacement.
