I have used this pattern more than once. It's an easy, versatile pattern. I added large pockets on both sides....everyone needs pockets. I also used a thicker band around the neck, front sides, and extended the length.UPDATE: This pattern works great with light-weight denim. No lining-French seams.

I made the XL letter C option and it turned out great! The XL was a little big, so I think I'll stick the large next time. Took me 6 hours to complete because this is the first time I used a sewing pattern and I'm pretty happy with how it came out. Can't wait to make more!

It is a great pattern for a very light weight fabric or a very drapey fabric. I am going to try it with patchwork, a bit heavier but not unreasonable. The sleeves are off the shoulder which will make them easy to set in using the patchwork.

Really enjoyed this pattern, I'm an experienced sewer and I found it very simple but turned out beautiful. Great for beginners and if you want to quickly put something together. I used an overlocker so it zipped up quickly.

Just the pattern I was looking for. I had one like it, at Butterick but have been using it over 30 years and truthfully, it was falling apart. The two places I looked for it didn't have Butterick. Was so happy when I found it.
