Caligo came recommended by a professional printer, and although it's a bit pricey, it is so much better than the water-based inks I'd used before.

The Caligo Safe Wash Relief Ink in Opaque White was suggested by an artist I saw on Instagram who does botanical monoprinting--basically rolling over a leaf or flower with the ink and then pressing that leaf onto watercolor paper. Her results were simply amazing and I really wanted to give it a try. The Caligo Ink worked well for my fledgling attempts at monoprinting. I was able to get decent prints right out of the gate. My only complaint is that this is a messy hobby and ink makes an inky mess, even if it is white.
