This carburetor works better than all the other carburetors sold on here. (I've bought dozens of other brands and half the time they don't work) This is the second one I've bought and it works great. The only thing I don't like is it doesn't have a shut off solenoid in the carburetor, but I just add a shut off valve in the fuel line. I still give it 5 stars because it works 100x better than the other one I just bought elsewhere.

Installed on large town behind mower with single cylinder. 12.5hp Briggs and Stratton engine. Works perfect starts easy now. Much more cost effective to just buy a new carb vs try n rebuild the old ones these days. Just go with new. Cant beat the price .

Works perfect on my Bolens (MTD) 38" mower with Briggs & Stratton Power built 13.5HP engine. Direct fit and no adjustment needed.

I installed carberator. Engine would start and work on low speeds. As soon as you excelled or attemp to put under load the engine floods or starts to stall out. Carberator is faulty..cleannthe old carberator installed it back on and engine works fine. Meaning the carberator has a problem internal. The carberator I got is different then the picture because there is no adjustment screw on the carberator body. . Nothing can be adjusted. I can't send it back because it's full of fuel.

Worked great and still does to this day. Filters were too small for the existing fuel line size but I didn't really need them anyways. -1 star for the filters but the carb itself was perfect.

Product is a much better value than a rebuild kit. It was an exact fit & MUCH lower coat than an OEM carburetor from a dealer. One hint to share is that carburetor is NOT pre adjusted. Both adjustment screws need to be adjusted to factory specifications before it will function. Once adjustments are set, it performs as expected.

Although the whole model numbers match I had to replace the gasket to intake flange as it had a different surface groove lenght as well as a straight fuel inlet tube instead of 90 degree. I saw the difference on the seller's pics but decided I could work something out as I had some parts, but this lawn tractor's one was sooo dirty and seized I couldn't even pull the main jet out to clean or replace. The new one fired right up and works like a charm. No issues.

Installed on my Troy Bilt Pony, 17.5 hp Briggs & Stratton Intek. Purchased a different carb first that was like my factory one, didn’t work, so I bought this one.The problem with the Briggs Intek motors are the fuel cut off solenoid, terrible design. You can get just the solenoid, but I wanted a whole new carburetor, and for the price it’s worth it.I chose this one because it does not have a fuel cut off solenoid. I installed a fuel cutoff switch on the fuel line anyway for when not in use.Worked great and fired right up, and ran strong the whole time.This WILL work if you have a Walbro 4993 carb. Fitment is fine, and ditch that stupid fuel solenoid!
