Everything I’m sure is of quality material. My issue with this is I shipped it back unopened because it was not going to work with my boat. The seller does not provide a shipping label for you to return it.UPS charged $131.62 to ship this back. They don’t have a phone number to talk to a person to try and get a label. Make sure this will work before purchasing.

First of all my boat is a 1978 StarCraft 16SS with what have been the original bunks. The original bunks were spread out to far making loading boat a nightmare to hit the front rollers. There was no way to adjust them, so I got the 5’ C.E. Smith bunks.I wish I could report these went on a 2023 Skeeter….but..um….no. You read that correctly….a 1978 StarCraft 16SS.To save yourself frustration when installing these bunks…use a 3/8 air ratchet with a 9/16 socket. It will save you so much time vs. hand tools.I removed my old bunks and replaced them with these in about three hours. Went much quicker when I brought out the air ratchet. Installation sheet is mostly step by step. Would be nice if they included photos of the steps. The further these are toward the rear of the trailer the better for boat alignment. All hardware is included. Nicely build in USA product.Nice quality. Once everything is tight, it’s a solid build. You want to keep the brackets that mount to the trailer a little loose until you line everything up then give it a snug-down. I had to re-adjust the arms a few times to get it correct because when you do a final tighten, everything chinches up and bunks ended up to tight against the boat. But that is the beauty of these things….the arms are adjustable. I got them where I think they should be, I can always loosen and tap them a little further out if need be.So, I will take a 9/16 with me to the lake next time out in case I need to make some minor adjustments.Hopefully, this will help align the boat to hit the center rollers and I can load my boat like a normal person, Instead of getting in the water to adjust the boat on the center rollers by hand.

These boat guide bunks have made my boat ramp anxiety completely disappear. I don't use my boat enough to get proficient at recovery. I probably am describing millions of people who seasonally boat. These things are great and I highly recommend them. Very sturdy and can take a pretty good hit from a 3000 lb. boat coasting through them as a guide. No more haphazard recoveries for me by under shooting the winch or drifting one way or the other before attaching the winch in a current, or experiencing the embarrassment of getting your boat back on the trailer in a chaotic fashion. For a one man launch recovery they are the best! They provide consistent recoveries and seamless launches every time.

Very heavy duty side guides. Really easy to install on our trailer and they are very sturdy. Much better than some of the cheap ones you see out there. The hardware is high quality but not stainless steel so be sure to grease it up. Price is much better than going to west marine, and shipping was quick too

Easy and fast install. They look great on the trailer and hug the boat when you adjust everything where it should be. I installed mine more towards the back end of trailer.Makes loading/unloading a breeze! I have a M-hull boat that was a booger to trailer especially at a dock with a strong current. Would normally take me a couple attempts to get it on the trailer correctly. After I installed them me and my wife put them right to use. Made us look like PROs at the boat ramp! Off and on in one try!I would recommend to anyone looking for bumper boards to help make the boat ramp a quick part of their trip!

I installed these bunks on my boat trailer last night. So far I like everything about them. all of the hardware was there and everything fit together.Only thing I would recommend is getting a 9/16 super deep well ratchet instead of using a 9/16 wrench. The reason I suggest that is because the nuts are lock nuts and screwing them onto the bot for a couple inches is a lot of work turning 1/4-1/2 turns at a time. The other thing I noticed on my trailer is that the uprights are a little too short. Not sure if its the curve of my boat or what but the rear uprights have a little gap between the bunk and the boat but the front uprights are snug/tight to the boat and they are pulled out as far as I was comfortable with.Hopefully they work well. I think they are worth the price. Just hope they don't gouge or scuff up my wrap on my boat.

The CE Smith Trailer Bunk Board Guide -On are a necessity to loading a large or small boat especially in a cross wind. It is very adjustable to nearly any trailer. I have only used it about three times before the boating season ended here in Montana, but each time I was really impressed with how much easier it is to load the boat. It took a little time to adjust the guides, but I discovered that I didn't have the boat centered to start with. A good tool and a good value. Very happy with my purchase. They are very heavy duty...

My shipment was incomplete but I contacted C.E. directly, explained the shortfall and requested the necessary parts. They arrived shortly and everything was fine. Easy to install and seems to work well.

Really a great product. The Bunk board was easy to install but took a little time to adjust leaving a 1/2" gap between boat and guide. On my first trip one of the side metal arms became loose and slipped back and started flopping. My fault, when I crossed the U-bolts for a narrow frame, I did not make sure the bracket was extra tight. The Frame on my trailer is 3" H x 2" W and the mounting bracket for the bunk board is longer. To eliminate any future the problem I re-aligned and tightened the 2 U-bolts . I also put a 5/16" x 3/4" self taping screw into the side of all four channel bracket . The self taping screw now prevents the side bars from moving in or out in the channel bracket. I did this for all four arms.
