I pulled this out yesterday for my daughter to color with her Nana. The paper was a little thinner than I was expecting, and I'm not sure how it would hold up to markers, but I put out crayons, and they happily colored together for some time.You definitely want a decent sized area to use this, if you want the roll to stay intact. We used the kitchen table, and stood a cup on one end of the roll, and a box on the other end to keep it open. Kids might just use a floor, where a hard floor is available.I like that there are two rolls, versus one roll that might become too long to easily use. I will say that the first roll came off it's inner tube. I'm not sure that matters, other than making it a bit easier to bend when traveling.This is good fun, and I'm looking forward to having a turn. If you've got kids who like to color, and especially who might want to color with company, I definitely recommend giving these a try.
