Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist absolut angemessen, die Box wirkt sehr stabil, ist gut verarbeitet und sieht echt schick aus. Ich habe nach etwas gesucht, in dem meine Sammlung sicher & platzsparend verstaut ist. Außerdem ist die Box super praktisch, um einfach durch die Sammlung zu blättern. Das Display an der Vorderseite ist ein echter Hingucker, um einen ausgewählten Comic zu präsentieren. Ich bin jetzt schon von Fan von der Box und da meine direkt voll ist, werde ich mit Sicherheit nochmal welche dazu bestellen. :)

This is a PVC-covered, cardboard-lined storage box, specifically designed for comic book collections. The outer lining very much has a canvas-weave look and feel.With the modern day (1985 to current day) comic book being 10 1/4 inches by 6 1/2 inches, this box is can hold approximately 150 to 200 standard-sized comics (varying depending on the thickness of the individual books and additional packaging aka bags and boards). The box measures 11 inches in height by 8 inches in width, with the length measuring 15 1/2 inches.The box is spacious enough to accommodate thin plastic dividers, used to separate various titles/story arcs/creative runs/etc. for faster indexing and searchability.The box is water-resistant, thanks to the PVC coating. This is superior to the traditional cardboard comic boxes that are vulnerable to degradation from water damage/exposure.It's semi-rigid, capable of holding its own shape, even when empty. When full of comics, it can support a weight of about 20 lbs without any tearing or damage to the box. The inner board supports are divided by half the length/widths of the box, allowing for the box to be collapsible when emptied for space-saving purposes.The box has fabric handles sewn in at the two long ends to assist with lifting/carrying when you need to move it.The box I received has is covered in a series of illustrated panels of black and white backgrounds with various colored images overlaid. It evokes imagery of classic comics from the 1930's, 40's, etc, without any specific characters or scenes depicted. (This is not visible in any of the images currently shown on the product page, where the boxes simply have a black exterior). My box does not have the plastic sleeve on the front side, that lets you pick one comic that you want to display for reference. The box does have a small index card pouch on the long side, where you can insert a simple listing of what the contents are.This design offers some superior qualities to the traditional cardboard box, most notably the water resistance. In some respects, it's not quite as sturdy as those cardboard versions. It effectively serves the exact same storage function, while having a cleaner visual aspect.These boxes sell for approximately $20 (discounted to $17.50 if you buy them in pairs). A bit more pricey per unit than the cardboard versions, which sell for around $12 a piece.

These are much stronger than expected given the weight and overall size. They're made very well with a strong nylon outer material that is resistant to damage. Fits a good number of books without issue. Stacking works but I felt it needed to be aligned very well if these were on the bottom (generally not an issue). They also seemed more stable with more books so keep that in mind. The cap top (this one) is not as easy to use as the flip top as the edges of the top kept folding over so that required a bit more work. BUT, the cap top seems to be a lot more stable than the flip top. I'd put this type of top on the box going on the bottom or middle and the flip top as the one going on top because ultimately it is easier to use. The handles on these were really easy to use and made moving these around very easy. The comic pocket for display is a nice idea...I haven't really figured out a use for it other than a copy of a book or a paper that tells me what is inside (which is actually very convenient).

These cases are absolutely awesome for my needs. I was looking some something black that I could store my vintage Bronze Age Star Wars comics in and this fit the bill great. Perfect size to hold the set and comes in black - perfect to match my black frames in my Star Wars man cave. They are very rigid and great quality for the price; so much better looking that the traditional white cardboard boxes. It was quick and easy to assemble....seconds. The fit is perfect for the comics and I love the window/sleeve on the front. The lid fits snug. The carry handles on the side are well done and sturdy. These will work great for large collections; however, not sure they'd be great for stacking on top of one another - probably best organizing side by side. I will definitely buy more to hold my others for sure. Buy 1 (or more), give it a chance. I think you'll be pleasantly pleased with the purchase. Again - these are fantastic! I added a few pics with this review.

Love the price and that it’s more than just cardboard. I like the size and has a good cover that is not attached. I’m not a professional collector but wanted a decent storage option for my comics, and didn’t want an all plastic container.
