One board worked perfectly but the other did not include the actual sensor chip. As you can see in the photo the rest of the board is complete, no solder is missing, etc, it just looks like that one part didn't get placed.I did have another bare MCP9808 leftover from a different project and mounted it myself to the empty board and it worked, but I still didn't get one of the chips I paid for.Knowing how surface mount boards are assembled i'm not sure how this would happen other than someone programming the machine to leave out a few chips on each panel to try to save a buck. I'd like to give the manufacturer the benefit of the doubt (and even if it was a mistake, it would be a quality control failure just as deserving of criticism), but it really seems more likely or at least possible to be deliberate fraud.Not that brand loyalty really means anything anymore, but I'm most likely going to completely avoid "Comimark" in the future.

Works well with ESPHome. Nice breakout board and seems to have good accuracy and resolution.
