I have been buying spawn bags and bulk substrate from Midwest/Mycolabs individually for my last few grows, and I always have too much bulk substrate, this refill kit seriously saves me time and money. You basically save money and get replacement filter disks and a new liner for free! One thing I always notice is the grain in the spawn bags always looks a little dry, but they colonize quickly, and I never have contamination issues. I think it's an optical illusion or something.. haha! I love these Monotubs! have been experimenting with different varieties that I normally wouldn't grow in one of these tubs, but I've surprised myself again and had a decent harvest of King Blue Oysters and Pioppinos! Thanks again for the awesome products!
