Replacing the fan drive belt on my 2012 MB Sprinter with the 3.0L diesel. I trust the Continental brand. The OEM part hasn't failed but the rubber does seem to be a little on the hard side after 12 years and 100K+ miles so I am replacing this while I am pre-emptively replacing the water pump and fan support bearing since I tore a whole bunch of stuff off the engine to replace the oil-cooler seals and clean out the black goop in the intake manifold and swirl flaps from the oil mist from the crankcase venting system and exhaust carbon from the EGR valve. I already did the serpentine belt, tensioner and idler pulleys about a year ago when the tensioner pulley seized and shredded the belt about 500 miles from home. Shops weren't available to get the van in for at least two weeks so I drove 500 miles and fixed it in the parking lot of the hotel where my wife was working out of. If you have a Sprinter, consider replacing this stuff on your own terms, instead of waiting for it to break down on the road. Most shops hate working on Sprinters, and I know why. (If you have to remove anything, you have to remove everything.)
