The Cooper-Atkins 50336-K Type K thermocouple 6" DuraNeedle probe measures temperature from -40 to +500 degrees F (-40 to +260 degrees C). It is used for monitoring temperature in foods, liquids and other materials. It has a response time of 2 seconds in liquid for fast readings. The polyurethane coiled cable extends to 4' and withstands temperatures up to 176 degrees F (80 degrees C).

I work in the Restuarant Industry. We time and temp product daily. We have had several thermometers of this type go down. This is so far been the fix every time. A new Probe and cord. Spend way less then buying a new one!
