We are using these trays in our fast food restaurant however, they would be just as appropriate during a barbecue or birthday party. They are constructed of fairly heavy-gauge plastic, making them light but sturdy and rigid. The surface is textured to minimize things from sliding around, but realistically, plastic is plastic, and it is still relatively slippery. We can put two full root beer mugs on the tray, lift it up by one corner, and still have it be perfectly sturdy. It washes clean easily and is reasonably resistant to scratching. This is a great choice if you need a lightweight but still sturdy tray.

I've definitely seen larger trays at dorm cafeterias and some fast food, but at home I wanted something just big enough to hold one plate, cup, and bowl, and this does the job. Time will tell if this one stays flat after months of use but it seems solid enough now so I'm confident.

Great trays, perfect depth, with decent texture on the surface providing good friction. No complaints.

These are great trays! Commercial quality gear, like you would see/use in a restaurant. There's no give to these. I don't know how much weight these can hold, but it's waaaay more than you'll ever need while carrying food. Nice looking, dishwasher safe, and reasonably priced, you can't go wrong with these.

Met my expectations and at a good price too. I have elderly parents who need things served to them on a tray these days and this fits the bill. It is exactly the type of trays you find in U.S. fast food restaurants which has the lip perfect for keeping items from sliding off.

These are definitely heavy duty trays... Pretty much on par with the ones we used to have in college that got turned into sleds in the winter time. They'll hold up forever (unless you use them as sleds of course) and you won't have to worry about them failing when you pile the food high on'em. We ended up using them for the kids when they want to eat at the couch.

I love the idea of having these trays to bring bbq food inside from the grill. We tend to try and manage plates in our hands which can be disastrous. Now it will be much easier with the trays. They’re easy to hold and carry without any issues. I do think it’s slightly priced higher than others like it, but they are very solid. I absolutely recommend them and will get another set to have a total of four trays.Price at the time of purchase and review 7.99

When I saw this item on Amazon I couldn't pass it up. Yes, it will be useful carrying a meal from the kitchen to the TV room, but it brings back memories of public-school cafeterias and fast-food restaurants. How could I pass it up? I am absolutely delighted, and this will bring me joy and happy memories every time I use it.
