Love this ice scoop, it works amazingly. Big scoop and sturdy. Much better than the plastic one we had, very strong. It is Not to heavy. It has been worth what I paid for it.

Holders started rusting after less than a month. After less than two months bottom of the holder completely rusted out. Why would you not make a product coming in often contact with water out of stainless steel?

I was pleasantly surprised the holder/scooper fit perfectly in the freezer and is not cumbersome.

I didn't see anything telling me not to do this but I put the scoop in the dishwasher at the top on a low heat cycle and it tarnished badly. I ended up getting a different one.
