Desert Cactus flags are an officially licensed product, and have been approved by the College/University. Our flags are made of 100% polyester material to allow it to gracefully wave in the wind, as well as display the design in vibrant colors. One side of the flag features the printing as displayed in the images, while the other side features the design in reverse.
Flags feature two metal grommets at the edge of the flag, making it easy to put on a tailgating flag pole or hang up to display.
Our flags measure 3 feet tall by 5 feet wide.
Each flag features quadruple stitching edges and a canvas edge where the grommets are, for longer durability.

Desert Cactus, the company that makes college-themed flags, has started to use diagonal stitching for the corners. This is different from the parallel/minimal stitching that was used in the past. The company notified me that the diagonal stitching is meant to reinforce the corners, especially for people who display their flags outdoors. I appreciate and accept this explanation, but if you order several flags, you may get a mix of both the older and newer stitching styles.

I have two flags from this company (two different schools), which gave me a chance not only to judge the quality, but the consistency of that quality. These are VERY well made flags. I also have another flag from one of the more well-known big brands for this same school, and it doesn't compare at all. The material is lighter (I wouldn't hang it outside), the colors are not as bright, the graphics aren't as sharp, and it cost a lot more than the list price of this one. This flag is suitable for hanging in a window (it's the perfect size at 3 feet x 5 feet), but it's also heavyweight material and well put together, I would not hesitate to put this outside in the weather. It's surprising this company can keep their prices so reasonable on licensed products. They have a huge selection of many different schools, and with the basketball tournament about to begin, this is a great way to show your school pride. You will not be disappointed with this product.

I was looking for decorations for my basement to make it casual/sporty, and this flag of my alma mater is definitely helpful because of how much space it take up on the wall. There are no errors on how the flag was printed, but I wish the flag was a little thicker. When I was holding the flag I noticed that I could see my hand on the other side. Because of that I feel that if you were to use this as an outdoor flag, it wouldn't do a good job of repelling water. But if you are using this as an indoor decoration, this is a great option!

The material is too light for this to be used outside without the slightest breeze making it a tangled mess. Would not buy again but it did help us celebrate a UConn men’s basketball championship!
