How to install?

Still works great after five years of use. Initial battery lasted about 4 years and replacing it in the switch was simple.

Mine also broke within 3 months.It worked fine for a couple of weeks, then it started to activate intermittently, even if the button was turning red.I opened the button and it was corroded, I cleaned it and replaced the batteries. The button appears to be working fine but the wall unit does not receive the signal consistently and it activates intermittently.I liked the idea but it is not a quality product.

I bought one of these about a month ago and it works just fine. I just wish that the had color options for the button other than white plastic.

It was easy to install and works like a charm. I had a plug for the dishwasher, but no switch to add a disposal. I used this in the outlet with the dishwasher and was able to add a disposal and plug it in. Mounted near the sink and easily in business.

Should have done this long ago. We have a sink in an island with granite countertop. The disposal switch is underneath the sink inside cabinet so every time we used the disposal we would have to open the cabinet to flip the switch. I got this remote and just plugged it in to the receptacle, plugged the disposal into it, turned on the switch and mounted the button under the overhang of the counter with the included double sided adhesive and it worked. No more opening and bending and searching for the switch! Best of all, my wife is happy!

I love this garbage disposal switch!! We just remodeled our kitchen and I wanted a garbage disposal but my husband never had one before and didnt know you needed a switch to turn it on. LOL We already had our countertops installed and they wanted $75 minumum to come out and drill small hole for the push button. So we decided to try this button. Super easy to install and we ended up mounting the swithc underneath the cabinet to the left of the sink and it works great. And I dont have to worry about it getting dirty and having to clean it like the push buttons on the countertop.
