I required a new regulating valve on my closed boiler loop system. I liked the idea the pressure was adjustable down to 7.5psi. I require about 15 psi for my system. As per picture the valve when adjusted by the hex screw on top was easily adjusted to 15psi. (see pic). Please note: the gauge that came with the regulator was not used as a gauge reading lower pressures was required.I also liked the compact size of this unit making installation in tight spaces practical. In the picture description its is labelled as having (this is an assumption I'm reading this right) a swivel union which is does not. Both ends of the valve are fixed. Hence the 3/5 for "easy to install". Other then that it installs like a regular gate valve. The pressure rating is listed up to 116 psi. The gauge that comes with the unit goes up to 220psi, which is way out of its normal operating range, so perhaps not very accurate. It does however have red line above it highest rated pressure, in order to go above the rated pressure one would have to have a supply pressure above 116psi which I would think to be unlikely. The gauge is also very small, adding to its compact size but difficult to read. This valve will be monitored and any issues will be updated in the review.

Works great. Doesn’t come with fitting to connect to water hose connections for RV use but I used old connectors from prior valvecregulatir. All brass thus no issue with plastic threads.

Could not get the G thread to seal in an inline camper installation, using both pipe tape and pipe joint compound/pipe dope (at same time). Not a trustworthy product in any way, with a high threat of water leaks and damage. Stay away, unless you like crap and getting screwed over.

A reducer with 1/2 inch npt fittings and no guage is about 80 dollars at lowes so this is a much better deal. You can get the adapters to fit from dn15 to 1/2 inch from newline for around 10 dollars. Or if your really cheap, 1/2 inch npt will work with lots of Teflon tape. The thread pitch is the same only it's not tapered

Walked into a flooded facility today. This pressure regulator failed after only 7 months in use. The bottom body cap ruptured and the water was pouring out.

This didn't have connection fittings for garden hoses, nor a debris screen with washer. After purchasing the connections, I hooked it up and nothing registered on the pressure meter with no water output. I adjusted the hex set screw that suppose to control the output pressure. However, water never exited the valve despite the adjustment position of the screw.I decided to strip down the valve. Neoprime washers, pressure adjustment springs and debris filter were not damaged.Valve body has no damage internal or external. The valve flow piston, however, was stuck fast. The valve is now a paper-weight... DOA
