Pipes arent shiney but not an issue it's going under the car, the first hump isn't a resonator and is there for cosmetic purposes I assume, the muffler is thinner than pipe so has a loud sound to it but it has a silencer.For the price it's a cheap true 3" right through, would I buy again ? Yes I wouldIf I could change anything it would be to a different muffler,Great bang for buck just don't expect a $500+ exhaust for under $150
