Fit my 1996 Dodge Ram 2500 Cummins diesel perfectly it only took about 20 minutes to install great product no steering play combined with a red head steering box.

ok this may help i have had a clunking in my steering for some time on my 2000 ram 3500 4x4 after replacing all most every front end part an adding the steering box stiffener most of the clunking was gone still had a slight bit so what the heck i order this new part looks good when i get it nice an stiff in hand seams not to have any play like i can tell of not like the old one still in the truck now old one out new one in easy to do b 4 i take a ride i see if it moves at all and it does at 1st i was like this is going to be even more clunky then the old one well took the truck out for a spin you know what i was shocked no more clunking even though this new shaft was not as well built as the oem was an had more slop in it it worked so yes its worth the money but i think the clunking some of you may feel comes from the shaft the slides in an out my old one was so rusted under the boot it was like a solid rod amplifying everything up to the steering wheel so worth a try if universal joint on old shaft seem tight look for the shaft being stuck clean an lube it up an give it another try if not def order this one

Works great for a lifted dodge mines got a 5in skyjacker and stock wasn't close to the correct length this new one does the job perfect
