Ordered this part because it says it fits my Jeep but when I go to put it in it was like 4 inches to shortAnd when I returned it it says it’s been refunded and I still haven’t gotten my refund

I installed this shaft on my vehicle in November-2022, it’s now March-01-2023. I had lots of play in my steering again and I was going crazy trying to figure out what was wrong now. I had replaced everything in my steering over the last several months. Upon closer inspection I seen that the pinch welds that hold the lower part of the steering shaft to the universal joint had broke. I had to weld it to prevent any more damage to the shaft. Not a very good product from the factory but welding can fix it.

that was a long sequence of steering shaft order(s) after I almost lost any hope (first time I ordered it via Amazon and was waiting for two weeks in order to get shipment confirmation with no luck) so I resigned and tried my luck with authorized Jeep/Fiat dealer here in Europe and it was even worse because they couldn't establish if the part is available in the warehouse or else where an why it is not shipped yet which took them another few weeks. So I said OK it can't be worse and gave Amazon another chance- et voila product arrived factory sealed after 6 days from US to Europe passing custom clearance and all the procedures. Fits perfectly and brings my TJ back to good shape. Thank you Amazon !!!

very good part. fits my 1999 2.5L Jeep Wrangler. I have a set of 31.50 15 mud tires on some 15x10 wheels and a 2inch lift kit.works perfect. just think it was a little expensive though. other than that I have no regrets.
