Purchased this to replace a failed unit on a 292 inline six in my '69 c10. The part looked a lot nicer in person than the picture, it had already been painted black. installation was a breeze. The local auto parts zone had the proper installation tool readily available for me to rent, and installation was mere minutes with the engine still in the vehicle and radiator still in place. once installed, I let the engine warm up to temp and checked the timing. I could never set the timing previously because the slipping of the old unit prevented that. the timing marks lined up exactly as they should and I have not had and issues yet. I drove on the freeway a few times and everything seems to be okay. Best part is I saved about a hundred bucks or so between purchasing this part form amazon and being able to rent the installation tool.Word of caution: The part comes with a replacement woodruff key, but it was too long for me to use. Thing was almost an inch, and the one i was using was closer to half that size. No biggie, I just re-used the old woodruff key. If any issues present themselves, I'll update.
