By the way this thing is a piece of garbage. It is made wrong it just slips right on no interference fit like it is suppose to have . It will loosen up and could destroy your engine. I got sick and I fell past the return window.

You cannot read the timing marks with any paint. Fits loosely on the crankshaft. FYI you buy this part you will really regret it.

Purchased for 1968 Cougar 302. Harmonic balancer was loose on the crank, could put it on and take it off by hand.

Looked nice and new, but was loose fit on my crank snout... like it was stretched out. I ordered by part number, for my application but the timing mark's were in the wrong spot.Bought the same balancer from a different vendor, and it was perfect.
