The OEM mechanism is designed by Chrysler to FAIL... without simple repair... and it does what it is designed to do... this AFTERMARKET linkage set replicates the Chrysler design and will probably fail for the same reason the Chrysler part fails... but that's not the point here - This is considerably less expensive than the OEM REPLACEMENT... the only thing to know is that the fixture that goes with the wiper arm (it feels like a hard plastic or a nylon) is too wide where it fits into the wiper arm. BUT NO BIGGIE... just make sure to have a box knife and use it carefully to trim the width of this piece. There are many good videos (and many bad ones) with instructions on removing and installing. JUST A NOTE... the push rivets will probably need to be replaced if there is any age on your Jeep. I found a removal tool and 100+ rivets of different sized for under fifteen dollars... I trashed the old ones and replaced with new ones... all in all total less than $150 and considerably less than the $500+ a dealer will install. one tip: leave your windshield dirty or mark the most open spot with tape on your window, this will help with alignment when fastening them to this new assembly. You need a T30, a 13mm socket, a 10mm socket and a good video.BTW 5stars because it works though it might be slightly more delicate than the OEM at double the price

So, screw Chrysler for making it so I have to order the entire wiper linkage for my 2015 Wrangler knowing full well that these things are built to NOT be garage-kept. They engineered pretty much every other model series of Jeep in such a way to where Dorman could product replacement retainer nuts for the wiper linkages. That being said, this is about Dorman's product and not about Jeep being stupid. To that end, the part is a little pricey but it's well built and does the job. It looks EXACTLY like the OEM to the point where it will probably last exactly as long. I did notice the rubber grommets that go between the transmission arms are of a slightly different design. Not better or worse, just different.

Fit and finish is just like the original . I have used Dorman products a lot in the past and never had any problems. Actually I used to sell Dorman products a lot when I was in the auto parts business and I cant ever remember having a product returned do to it being defective . This wiper transmission works great !!!
