The holes for the generator bracket are poorly machined. Drilled twice and on an angle. Not enough thread to install bolts.

I needed a Passenger side Alternator/Generator mount set up for my hot rod build. This Manifold provided the solution to that issue. Casting is good, a little course/rough, but quite heavy. This is a very good duplicate of the original at a great price. 2 1/2" exhaust dumps with heat tube installed for those of you who have an early carburetor and need the heat tube to run the choke. Overall a great buy with all the needed gaskets and fasteners to install (minus Head Bolts). FOLLOW UP ISSUE: Had these for a few months now and the bolt holes on the Alternator/Generator Mount stripped out quickly and I had to Heli-Coli them. So, be prepared to do this

I searched for a manifold for 1961 corvette. It turns out this is for 1962 or newer. p p p
