When an exhaust manifold fastener breaks on certain Ford vehicles, repairing it conventionally usually requires significant labor, up to and including removing the cylinder head. This Dorman OE FIX repair clamp bypasses existing hardware, even if it's broken. Rather than cutting, heating, and extracting the compromised fastener, use this kit to save time and labor and provide just as secure a connection as factory equipment with common hand tools. This part is compatible with the following vehicles. Before purchasing, enter your vehicle trim in the garage tool to confirm fitment. Worked like a charm. Saved me a ton of time and frustration. Bolted right up and holds a very tight seal.

Had a right side manifold leak on a F250. Two studs are broken off into the head. The part was able to put pressure on the end of exhaust manifold to stop the leak. Works great.

I was looking for a product like this for quite some time! It was exactly what I needed.Fits perfectly in my 2003 Ford E350 superduty truck with the 5.4L V8. It helped with the leaking exhaust manifold gasket.Highly recommend this product!

In theory this thing should work but it doesn't...for me anyway. They sent it with 2 standard bolts that are too big for the holes and 1 metric bolt that does fit but doesn't clamp anything because it's too short.

I have been struggling with this bolt for years. I’ve tried penitent lube, I’ve tried welding a nut to the stud, I’ve tried striking it. But the broken stud would not come out of the head and the exhaust kept leaking. This bracket did the trick and the exhaust leak is now gone. This is going to be a permanent answer and I will not remove it.My only issue is that the two large bolts that came in the kit, did not fit the head bosses. I had to go to the hardware store and get a smaller diameter. With that being said, I still would give this a five out of five, even with the wrong hardware. Great product.
