This toddler shoe is well-made and the material is nice and breathable. It's lightweight and has great cushioning. I love how flexible the shoe is as well. They go on and off easily and we don't have to worry about shoelaces.The sides have holes that make for an interesting design, but I don't believe it makes a difference functionally if your kid wears socks. It's actually pretty easy to forget that the holes are there. It doesn't add or take away anything for us.

I’m loving these Dr. Kong sandals for my 2.5 year old.They’re really easy to take on and off with the double velcro sides, they’re slip resistant and breathable. I like the durable toe guard and the reinforced backing on the heel.The lighter color I chose is a bit difficult to keep clean, but they’re toddler shoes, so that’s expected.She wears between a size 8-8.5, but I ordered a size 9 so she’d have room to grow in them through the summer and they are not overly big or come off while she’s running/playing.The price is a bit more than I usually pay for toddler sandals, but they’re nice quality, durable and really accommodating in support and getting them on and off, so I consider them worth the $30.I would definitely recommend these Dr. Kong shoes. Children need durable, supportive shoes for their growing feet and rough outdoor play, and I was not disappointed in any way by these.

These are cute and pretty light weight. The insoles are removable. Which will make washing them easier. They are mostly white I was hoping the color was going to be a little brighter.

Well, my daughter technically had another pair that she is using as she learns to walk...but these will be her first real shoes. We've tried them on her and they are a little big as expected. We bought a little big as she will grow a little before she truly can walk on her own. At any rate, they did fit as expected and these seem to be quality shoes. The velcro works well and the soles are cushy. These shoes will work great for her. Other than being a little pricey, really like these shoes.

These shoes have some nice features. The velcro sticks nicely and is easy for my daughter to unstick/fasten. The colors are nice pastels with some glitter to them that my daughter loves. Where they get a little weird, though, is the sides. They have big holes in the side, similar to sandals, but are definitely not sandals. In my opinion, they need to be worn with sturdy socks to keep feet from getting blisters.They're still a bit large for my daughter, which I expected, but mostly seem to stay on pretty well which is good for little kid sneakers. So far they seem to hold up to playing pretty well, which is another plus.
