The advertising for this step ladder is misleading. One of the photos on Amazon show the step ladder with "800 LBS" superimposed on the photo. And the product description says the load capacity is 800 lbs. I specifically bought this ladder because I thought it could support 800 lbs, but when I looked at the paper that came with the ladder, it said it supports up to 250 lbs. I resent being misled to by the maker of this ladder.

I'm a larger person & older, safety is a primary concern when climbing. Even though I'm taller somethings are still just beyond my reach and this utility ladder helps me climb safely.

I really like this little two step ladder. It's very convenient for those odd jobs when you need to be a foot or two taller. What I really liked about it is that it is wider than others I have had. It does fold flat for easy storage, and when setting it up, them steps snap into place letting you know when it's properly set. I like the textured steps which keep you from slipping. My only complain is that it states it has an 800 lbs capacity. I'm not sure if that is true or not, as I don't know anyone who weighs 800 lbs, and if I did, I highly doubt they'd be climbing on step ladders. I weigh 140 lbs and I can feel the plastic steps sort of give just a bit, so I highly doubt it will hold 800 lbs. I think they need to made the step portion better. That being said, it works perfectly for me and allows me to avoid dragging out a bigger ladder in most cases. I would recommend this item.
