I have not installed mine yet, but the plexiglass is of really thick and nice quality and the fixtures of of nice quality. I think each one would hold 2 magazines or records and I think it will add a nice touch to a gallery wall. I'm going to put them in my home office to display a few old magazines. I think it will look fun and unique. These come wrapped in cellophane and are definitely protected during shipping.

These racks in the photos appear to be wide enough for at least 4 magazines or books without overlapping, they are barely wide enough for 2 magazines (see picture) and are much shorter and shallow than they appear in the advertisement photos. Returning.
