Using the EDiMAX USB-C USB Hub (EU-4308) with my Dell Inspiron 15 5510 was convenient—extra USB ports and a stable Ethernet connection. But, after about 5 months, the USB-C end unexpectedly snapped off.Handled it gently, so that break was a real letdown. It's a decent hub, but that durability hiccup is a big concern.

Funktionierte nach dem einstecken sofort.Sowohl das Netzwerk als auch der USB funktionieren mit der normalen Geschwindigkeit.Ich hatte eine normale externe HDD ( diese benötigen mehr Strom ) an den USB Port angeschlossen. Es gab keinen Übertragungsabbruch.Ich kann deshalb diesen Ethernet Hub auf jeden Fall empfehlen.

Was skeptical about EdiMAX as I know of it as a router brand but not a big presence in terms of actual reviews for these peripheral devices...So far it is very reliable and a steady gigabit port, the USB ports haven't failed at all, nor has the physical hardware, as my thunderbolt port is at the back of the laptop on a stand, so this EdiMAX hub has to hang 24/7... it has proven its worth to me ten fold... hence the delayed 5 star review ! :)
