Hola, es una laminadora muy buena, la compré cuando estaba rebajada aprox 500$ mxn, se calienta muy rápido, he enmicado con bolsitas para credencial de 10 milésimas y sin ningún problema a la primer pasada quedan muy bien.

Desde hace tiempo queria compra una, aproveche una super oferta y me salió a muy buen precio. Se ve buena, resistente, es liviana y de fácil uso.Dice que trae la opción de laminado en frio pero no la he usado, me imagino que hay que comprar el material adecuado para ello. Pero puedo decir que el laminado en caliente es bueno, me pareció que calienta y lamina rápido. Incluye algunas hojas o películas de laminación, yo no sabia y compre de la marca Scoth de 8.9 in x 11.4 in y funcionan perfectamente.

It's been a fortnight and I'm still waiting on customer service to call me back about how to work the heating portion of this laminator. It's pretty good at the cold but move the switch to the heat and the machine stops working. Oh, well.

This is a fantastic laminator! I wanted to get something that was solid and this definitely does a great job of creating many therapeutic tools (visual schedules, token boards, checklists etc.) Takes very few seconds to heat up and have had no problems with laminating smoothly, no bubbles, no effort required. I like that it automatically scrolls the item through on its own without having to crank a wheel.

Thank you Educational Insights for providing me with a Personal Classroom Laminator, free of charge, for review on my blog Ahh~Mazing Reviews. These are my own honest opinions.I looked at personal laminators and found a few I was considering buying, but in the end I decided to reach out to Educational Insights to see if I could receive one for review. I was very excited when they agreed to send me their Personal Classroom Laminator for review!This laminator is small and compact, and so simple to use! It can be used with heat or cold. I used it with heat, and it heated up pretty quickly and stayed heated up. I had read in some reviews of other laminators that when laminating a whole lot, sometime during the laminating process they would have to let the laminator heat up all over again before they could continue. This is not a problem at all with the Educational Insights Personal Classroom Laminator!The laminator itself gets warm to the touch, but not so hot that you can’t touch it, so it is not too dangerous to have around small children. I do watch Davey carefully when I am using it though. He is fascinated by the laminator and I could just see him putting his own paper through it if I didn’t keep it out of his reach!This laminator does a thorough job of laminating. I have laminated single sheets and then cut them out, as well as two sheets together to laminate front and back. When cutting out two sheets laminated together, be sure to leave a little plastic around the edges to keep it sealed. I have had to tape together some edges when I cut too close on double-sided laminating. I have laminated all kinds of things with this laminator and am very impressed with it!

I bought this little laminator at the end of the school year last year. After using it quite a bit this year, I don't know how I lived without it! For smaller items like game pieces, name tags, calendar numbers, etc, it is perfect! It is much easier to work with and the laminating pouches I purchased through Amazon.com at the same time are great too. I would highly recommend as a MUST HAVE!Why not 5 Stars?* It's a little slow motion. So it takes a little time but the seals are good.* After a few pages, it needs to re-heat. Not a long wait time, but if you don't like waiting, it's a hassle.* No auto shut off....just in case you are like me and forget to turn it off, well it will still be on in the morning!

I got my first educational insights' laminator as a Christmas gift. Brand new and right out of the box it did not work properly. The laminating pouches did not advance, things I tried to laminate kept getting stuck and there was a constant terrible grinding noise. We contacted Amazon and they replaced it with a new model. My mistake, I did not try it out right away as things were very busy at school. I just unpacked it last week and although it seemed fine at first after running through a few pages the whole unit jammed up and began making grinding noises. I called Education Insights Customer Service department and they said that my unit was definatly faulty based on my discription of the problem. However it only had a 90 day warranty so the best they could do was to give me a 10% discount on a new machine. While I understand their need to set limits to ensure that people don't wear out products and then try to return them, after two failed models there is no way I am going to waste my money on what is now a large, expensive and worthless paperweight. I just wish this little "life lesson" on trying things out sooner hadn't cost me over 60 bucks!!
