They go up and they go down, which is better than the one's that were original to the plane that didn't.

Perfect for smaller lighter RC planes. They work and cycle really well and appear to be high quality. Great design with lots of flexibility

These made my p-47 the best ever. didn't have landing gear on it for a over 2 years, finally gave in and bought these, and wish i would have done it much, much sooner. Love them and do recommend them.

I have these retracts on my Parkzone Spitfire. They work fine. When installing they require a little bit of adjustment to get them to close properly. One thing I noticed is the gear bends easily on hard landings. This requires you to bend them back (with some force) so that they'll close properly. It's the landing gear struts that are bending, not the retracts themselves. But it's worth noting for anyone who hasn't used retracts before.

If you are looking at electric planes in the class of Park Zone's P-47 there is no better landing gear! Yes, it it expensive, but I now own two sets. I put another one in a Mustang. Never a problem.
