Nice hat.The only down side is the adjustable ribbon to make the hat fit is very flimsy and even if you pull and tie to make it fit the ribbon can get trapped into the seam, hard to take out even if I tie a bigger knot. The ribbons material feels like straw , if pulled too hard and could snap.. Other than that the hat is nice I used an iron to smooth it out. I would suggest they use an another material for the ribbon inside the hat. Looks nice on.

The hat was really nice quality and I loved the color in person. It looks like it would hold up well and last a long time however It did not fit my head. The crown portion of the hat is too long and sat too low almost covering my eyes.

Package was crushed, hat box inside outer packaging was crushed. Hat was stiff and misshapen. Hat was for someone with a larger head circumference. Item was easily returned.

I love this hat. Yes, when it comes out of the box, it is kind of creased and stiff. But, I just hand washed it, let drip dry, and then pressed it with a steam iron. Now it is the perfect shape and texture. I like that it is a crocheted cotton, so it can get wet without falling apart like straw. It fits my big head perfectly. I am ordering another one. Also, with its slightly floppy brim it doesn’t blow off in the wind. So comfortable too!

I would say that this hat is more for function than fashion. As you can see in my photos, it arrived folded into a box. The hat was very stiff. It was so stiff that I could not even put it on my head without it being uncomfortable. It was also quite tall and was much too large on my head. I decided to put it in a vinegar and water bath to soften it. This worked well to soften the hat and shrunk it as well, even though I air dried it and did not put it into the dryer. My third photo shows the finished result. It fits my head much better now and it is more comfortable, so I am pleased with the outcome. However, the creases caused by being shipped in the small box remain.I originally bought this hat to wear on days that I did not want to fuss with my hair, and I wanted to go to the shops, etc. Upon receiving it, I think I will just wear it to shield my face from the sun while outside at my home. Maybe this will change if I am able to get the creases out of it, but I doubt that because the style of the hat is odd looking. I am giving this hat 4 stars because it is woven well, durable and it does help to keep my face out of the sun. The price makes it a good value.

These are well made, but they are a little small. I like to keep a hair tie on my wrist so I'll always have one and these are a bit tight. I have pretty small wrists too.

I recently had a laser picosure treatment done on my face which required having very very limited exposure to direct sun for risk of hyperpigmentation. This came in clutch, especially when you're driving and the sun is beating on your face. Other uses as well for hiking and helps get the sun and bugs out of your face.
